IMPORTANT: From my brief testing, you seem to have to point the controller pretty much directly at the Playstation receiver. This might have been due to batteries I used(quite possibly had low charge) but I'm not sure. If it is a problem with the design, I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to fix, for someone with basic electronic knowledge. > Because of this problem, the price is very low(below cost, although I bought them several years ago), & I can't offer a guarantee.
Brand new wireless joypad for Playstation2, or original Playstation, and PSone.
Does not have analog thumbsticks like Dual-Shock controllers. Does have 4 trigger buttons, & the normal four front buttons though. Also has 'L' & 'R' buttons on the front, I assume these replicate the effect of pushing down the analog sticks on a normal controller(to make them click, sometimes referred to as buttons L3 & R3). They might also just be replicating L1 & R1, in a more convenient position for fighting games. Would probably be ideal for fighting games, & arcade games. Direction pad makes an audible click when pressed in any direction.
The big advantage of course though, is that there's no wires. Uses infra red, so batteries should last a very long time.
Nice solid controller. Includes extra caps(with different shapes) for direction controller, so you can choose the type you like.
Receiver has 2 plugs, I'm pretty sure this is just so you can use 1 receiver for 2 controllers(if buy 2 controllers of course)
Has 1P / 2P buttons, I assume this is so you can use 2 at the same time.
